Supporting Accessible Instructional Materials in Tennessee

Learning Ally

Learning Ally, formerly Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D), is a nonprofit

company providing human read audiobooks including many textbooks.     Getting Learning Ally materials is based on subscription.

Parents and students can get an individual membership and access fiction, nonfiction, and instructional textbooks.

Schools and Districts can acquire group memberships for their students who need these resources.

When deciding if Learning Ally will be a good fit for your learners one thing to consider is, “Are the books that you need currently in the catalog for Learning Ally?”   To find out you can use the search tool in the top right hand corner of the webpage to search by Book title, Keyword, Author, or ISBN (International Book Standard Number).  They have large and expanding collection of resources and if you need a book that is not currently available there are mechanisms for requesting it to be added to the catalog.
